Yin Yoga is a slower version of Hatha Yoga where we hold the poses from one minute to up to 5 minutes. All the postures are in a seated position so no worries about them being do-able. I will also help you to manage the postures by offering modifications for those that need it. This class we focus on the Neck, Shoulders and Back areas that have often become a problem as we age and from the work we may have done most of our lives. Getting these areas moving freely again will make you look and feel years younger. As with all exercise classes only work within your range of motion and if you are not sure ask your health care professional if this is the right exercise for you. Most will agree that Gentle Yoga is the best way to keep your joints moving and your stress levels down.
