Birmingham Dogs Home invites dog lovers of all ages to ‘pawticipate’ in their fun, online ‘Downward Dog Yoga Challenge’ celebrating physical and mental health as part of their August ‘Pawsitivity’ month campaign.

‘One of the most popular and beneficial yoga poses is ‘Downward Dog’ which strengthens wrists, arms and legs and is named after the way dogs naturally stretch their entire bodies. Yoga is for everyone and is a great way to stay fit, strong and flexible, whatever your age.
I am excited to be helping this great local cause.’

Birmingham Dogs Home’s Head of Fundraising, Fi Harrison said ‘Yoga, like dog ownership is beneficial for both physical and mental wellbeing and so was the ‘pawfect’ fit for our month of ‘pawsitivity’ celebrations.
